I got this from Sim Warrior yesterday, would you send out an email to
everyone.

On the 29th of March (0800-1200 hrs.) the Deer Creek-Lamont After Prom
Parents committee will sponsor a fund raiser bicycle ride (Ride the Chisholm
Trail bike ride, 2008) which will have a route traveling through Pond Creek
and Medford utilizing Highways 60, 81 and 11 as the riders make their way
back to Lamont, Town Hall. This route will be
44.5 miles.

It is anticipated most riders will ride the short route which will travel
North and then back South to and from Lamont Town Hall using, highway 74 (17
miles). There will be fruit stops with Gatorade and water available at areas
on the route. The senior class will be offering "sag wagons" for those
wanting to to try and cannot make it all the way, they will pick up any
riders in distress and ferry them back to town.

Finisher medals will be given to the first 25 of each route that complete
the ride.

All riders are and will be encouraged to stop in both towns and use the
convenience stores to hydrate and eat as they make their way through Grant
County. All riders must have signed waivers to participate in the ride.

The cost of the ride to participate will be $10.00 and can be paid at
registration in the town hall on the morning of the ride or you can call Sim
