FYI. F rom Clair Powers, 

BTW, we saw a cyclist hurt after what appeared to be a nasty fall on the
trail on the west side of the river Saturday morning. He was coming down the
hill right after the Turkey Mountain parking lot and apparently hit a patch
of sand and ended up in the trees.  EMSA and the fire department were there
when we got there.  Fortunately, he didn't appear to be seriously injured.
Anyway, I'm sure it goes without saying that cyclists need to be careful
coming down that hill but I thought I'd pass that along, if it's worth
"posting".
