Is there any way this ride could be marked - it's too much trouble to try
and ride and read a map too - and following others doesn't always work, as I
found out on the Verdigris ride.   Thanks...Eve

Tulsa Bicycle Club invites you and your cycling friends to help keep Avery
Drive clean. The Wheelmen and TBC each adopted approximately 1.5 miles of
the road and  the two clubs often coordinate their efforts. But this may be
a bigger cleanup than usual because of the ice storm debris and possible
budget cuts to county road maintenance, so please help out!

 

The next TBC ADCU is Sept 13 at 7:30 a.m. with a 30-35 mile ride as soon as
possible afterwards: Prattville to End of Coyote Trail, then across dam, up
New Prue, cut over to Pogue Hill or 97T and  back to Prattville. Maps
available if needed.

 

TBC has tons of gloves, sticks etc. Meet at west end of Avery in grassy
area. Someone will be watching bikes and cars while everyone else picks up
trash.

 

Sturdy shoes recommended. Depending on how much the county can help, we may
shovel off some of the worse gravel.
