I just got this in my inbox this morning! 

  I wanted to pass it along.

  We have received an RFP from the City of Sand Springs, OK for upgrading existing traffic signal technology at four signalized intersections along designated bikeways.  The existing signals are to be updated with video detection and controls capable of detecting and facilitating the safe movement of bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
