If you like riding on Avery Drive, you might want to listen up....

I received a call from Sam Meyer...

Sand Springs has agreed to start planning meetings on the rock quarry 
idea along Avery Drive. If this goes through, it will mean around 300 or 
more trucks per day on Avery Drive. Not only will riding along there be 
dangerous but with all of the constant weight, the road is likely to 
deteriorate at a much faster rate.

Mr. Meyer told me there is a meeting about this at 7:00pm on June 19th 
at Sand Springs City Hall. He said this is the last chance to avoid 
having the quarry on Avery Drive. He is encouraging anyone and everyone 
who is a rider of Avery Drive to come out to the meeting.
