To whom it may concern:
My name is Patrick Riordan and I am cofounder of a new site known as
www.athleteinyou.com. We are getting this information out to you in hopes
that you can pass it on to your members. Our site is focused in all sports
and we have a professional/Olympic athlete panel that is off the charts!
Current partners include: Bobby Julich (pro cycling/Olympic medalist),
Jimmy Riccitello (pro triathlon), Summer Sanders (swimming/Olympic medalist,
T.V. personality), Eddy Hellebuyck (Olympic marathoner), Erik Schlopy
(skiing, 3 time Olympiad), Greg Vaughn (pro baseball) and more coming soon.
We have a very low introductory rate and portions of membership go to help
the United States Olympic Team, youth sport programs and scholarship
funding.
I have attached some information that describes our company and again if you
could please pass this all interested it would be very much appreciated. We
are going to be setting up live chat sessions with our athletes (Bobby
Julich at the Tour de France) and members need to be subscribed to our pro
package in order to participate. Time is important as these events are
coming up shortly. Should you need to contact me, you may email me at
pat at athleteinyou.com or ted at athleteinyou.com.
Thank you for your assistance,
Patrick Riordan
Athlete in You
More info. on company:
ATHLETE IN YOU
Dear triathlete/cyclist/runner/club member:
We are sending out this letter to introduce a new site that is committed to
developing the athlete at all levels for all sports. As total sport
enthusiasts, this site will cater to your interests as well as knowledge.
The site will be known as www.athleteinyou.com.
Areas of focus are going to evolve around training advice, medical advice
(one of the founding members is a physician and USAT coach), athlete
discounts from local and national retailers, race calendars, nationwide
network for medical/training/coaching assistance, developing athlete
profiles as a source to share with other members or become recognized by
agents/recruiters, member and non-member sites, and more. Everyone is being
encouraged to get on the site and post their sports-bio for free.
It is our hope to be involved on every level of sport and to eventually give
back to communities where we all reside. We will also be working to set up
partnership with the United States Olympic Committee to assist in athlete
development/sponsorship assistance, etc. Finally, it is our intention to
begin sponsoring athletes for team and individual sports. Currently, Bobby
Julich (prof. cyclist with Team CSC, Tour de France podium finisher, and
Olympic medallist) will provide cycling content. Jimmy Riccitello (prof.
triathlete) will head the triathlon portion of the site. Summer Sanders
(Olympic medalist, T.V. sports celebrity) will take over for swimming. Erik
Schlopy ( 3 time Olympiad) will provide information to all the skiers. We
have a team of 6 Kenyan runners being coached by Eddy Hellebuyck (Olympic
marathoner). Greg Vaughn (prof. baseball) will be in charge of baseball.
There will be more professionals in all athletic fields coming soon.
Eventually, our athletes will be doing live forums and blogging from
recognized sporting events (Tour De France, Ironman events, World Series,
Superbowl, etc.).
By participating in sports that require great focus and training, we believe
that your members will have an interest in being a part of Athlete in You.
Please send this message along with this exciting offer to your club
members. Our annual fee of $25 will entitle full membership benefits that
will include participating in the blogging and forums with our professional
athletes as well as receiving numerous discounts from retailers across the
country and communicating with other athletes across the country and
eventually in other countries.
For $8.95 individuals can develop a more comprehensive sports bio and have
it listed for the purpose of getting recognized through our recruiting
network. Membership is very important and the constant basis to grow and
continue to offer more to all of you. Your support is very much
appreciated.
Should you have any questions, you may contact Patrick Riordan (775)
224-4768 or Dr. Ted Rasoumoff, M.D. (520) 991-1674.
Thank you for your time and generosity and we look forward to growing with
all of you very soon.
Sincerely, Athlete in You
