[tbc] Avery Clean-up reminder

Hey there all you TBCers-

Don't forget to help with our club's obligation to keep Avery clean!

 

*	July 14 at 8:00. Meet at the grassy area at west end of Avery as
usual. Wear sturdy shoes. Roadside vegetation maybe high, so jeans may be in
order. Bug spray likely needed. Club provides the trash sticks, bags,
gloves, and orange reflective gear. 

 

*	The Tulsa Wheelmen will be joining us again. 

 

*	Door prizes: $20 gift certificate from Road ID (to tie in with the
first aid speaker at last month's general membership meeting). Plus the
usual fun small goodies for giveaway.

 

*	AND of course the Travelin' Trophy needs to be passed along to the
next poor soul. Sharon Henry has it all ready to go with some new additional
decorations!

 

*	After cleaning up, you'll have an opportunity to ride, or stop by my
house nearby for a bike-cleaning party. BYOB. I will provide bike cleaning
paraphernalia. We'll decide the route once we have an idea of numbers
wanting to ride from both clubs. BOTH RIDERS AND BIKE CLEANERS NEED TO MEET
AT MY HOUSE AFTER TRASH CLEAN-UP. Ride will depart from my house.

 

*	I am recovering from a hand injury from a bike wreck so may not
ride.

 

*	I live at 13604 W 43rd Pl in Sand Sprigs. That is the subdivision on
W 41st street at 137th W Ave. I live in the cul-de-sac of the second street,
in a large farmhouse with split rail fence, wide porch.  245-9285, 625-5200

 

Hope to see as many of you as we can out there on Saturday. We want to
outnumber the Wheelmen, right?!
