Join us this week for an educational program and discussion along with
an outlook for the year ahead from new TBC President Richard Hall.
We'll be viewing a new video produced by the League of American Cyclists
titled "Enjoy the Ride: Essential Bicycling Skills."  Created for use in
the Leagues BikeEd courses, the video is hosted by "Bicycling"
magazine's "Fit Chick," Selene Yeager. Learn what's current in terms of
driving your bike effectively.  And after the video, Brian Potter, Tulsa
cycling advocate, past president of the Oklahoma Bicycle Coalition, and
League Cycling Instructor, will share his thoughts regarding the
presentation and lead us in a discussion about effective cycling.
The Tulsa Bicycle Club serves as one of the primary avenues for
introducing Tulsa-area adults and young people to the joys of bicycling.
As a result, we should continue to improve our own skills and knowledge
while sharing the wealth of experience in the club with these new
cyclists. Thursday's presentation and discussion will aid in keeping our
message current and consistent.
