This isn't posted in time for inclusion in The Link, so I'm posting it here.
The TBC touring group's January overnight ride and campout will be January
20-21, 2007, but you will need to get your reservations in by January 8th.
This will not be a self-contained ride.

When: Saturday/Sunday, January 20 & 21, 2007

Where: Pine Island Resort (Grand Lake)

Who: You - whether you camp or not. You're welcome to come just
for the ride on Saturday or Sunday. And, if you want to stay
overnight you don't have to camp out. See info on lodging below.

How: Drive to Pine Island Resort (about one and a half hours) from Cherokee
Nation Casino on I-44. See directions below.
· Set up camp Saturday morning.
· Depart Pine Island Resort at 10:30 a.m. for the ride (we stop
for lunch).
· Saturday ride is 26 - 30 miles. This is a fairly scenic ride
with a couple of hills. NOTE: Larry will not perform sand-based
acrobatics this year.
· Sunday ride is shorter or longer, depending on the distance
you want to ride. We have a couple of hills that will be a
challenge to ride on Sunday morning.

Hosts
· Larry Thompson is hosting the camping at Pine Island Resort, a travel
trailer destination for eastern Oklahoma. He'll lead the ride.
· David Wilkinson will sweep the Saturday Ride. He's slow on
the hills anyway.

What: Camp in comfort. Ride the hills of eastern Oklahoma

· Pine Island offers a large heated cabin which sleeps 8-10.
· Heated travel trailers sleeping 3 to 4 friends are
available.
· For those who prefer tent camping, we can put as many tents
around the cabin as we wish.
· Recreation Building with 2 pool tables, ping pong, miniature
golf, easy chairs (and some hard ones), 2 showers on each side.
Bring cards, puzzles, dominos or other games.
· In door, heated fishing dock (no guarantee on number of fish
you can catch). Oklahoma fishing license is required.
· No smoking inside any of the facilities.
· Cabin and travel trailers have kitchens. No camping stove
cooking inside cabin or trailers.
· Cost is $10 per person tent, trailer, or cabin. That's
right. A flat rate, so choose the comfort level you want.
· Reservations are required. We need to know if you want to
sleep inside no later than January 8th, so we can assure we have the
main cabin and as many trailers as needed.
