The combination tire inflator and hand pump can shatter under pressure when inflating tires if there is a blockage in the tire valve, posing the risk of bruises, lacerations and ringing in the ears. The CPSC has received 12 reports of combination tire inflator and hand pumps exploding. Six injuries were reported including lacerations, temporary ringing in ear and bruising. The Genuine Innovations Second Wind MTB and the Wrench Force Two Shot were sold from January 2004 through May 2007 for about $30. The Second Wind MTB was sold as part of the Genuine Innovations ATV Deluxe Tire Repair & Inflation Kit from July 2005 to January 2007 for about $50. Roughly 55,000 units are being recalled. ************************ Poster's Disclaimer/Declaration as to "attempted" OBC list posting, hope it get through The foregoing recall notice should not be construed as an Offer to Sell anything, I don't think that it qualifies as "SPAM" (drivel or baloney, maybe) or an "advertisement", if anything, an "anti advertisement", I do have an Innovation's Product, the "Ultraflate" at the shoppe that I do recomend The express intent of this posting is solely to warn of a potentially defective product than "can" hurt someone (and apparently has), which I do knot want to happen to anyone, really! It surprised the heck out of me since he was so close to all the traffic. He just came bounding up to me meowing his little head off. He likely was dumped not too long before I came upon him. But he was down in the trees some, so who knows. Loida Delgado ran over to Homeland and got him some canned food, which he wolfed down. ANYway, good thing he was found by a veterinarian.. He is now awaiting adoption at the clinic I work at in Sand Springs. He is a male Domestic Shorthair (fancy name for mixed breed) and is tabby and white. He is about 10 weeks old by now. He is negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. He has been de-wormed, de-flea'd and has had his first vaccinations. He gets some more vaccinations next week. He will need a final round at about 14-16 weeks of age. He is very sweet and well-socialized, and lays calmly in my arms while I walk him around the bustling clinic. He gets played with regularly by the staff's kids, and by me when I can. He is a purr machine too. (Male tabbies usually are very pleasant cats). I have been calling him Avery. I have five animals in my home already, (three are rescues) so my place is full.. HE NEEDS A HOME! Contact me off the list for more info. I am paying for his care so far, and can work out something (if needed) for his final vaccinations and neuter surgery (at about 4 months or 4 pounds). He comes with a free bag of kitten food. Also I have handouts on introducing a new pet to an existing pet. Thanks- Carolyn 245-0285; 625-5200 cbfairless@cox.net -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Message-ID: Japan to Jerusalem: A Three Year Round the World Bicycle Odyssey In 1993, at the age of 25, Marlin Lavanhar embarked from Japan on a three year, 20,000 mile bicycle trip! He pedaled through some of the world's highest mountain ranges including the Himalayas and the Hindu Kush mountains, across parts of the Gobi desert, Tibet, India, Pakistan, through the middle east from Syria to Egypt, and across Eastern Europe and North America. Along the way, he met and lived with many interesting people including nomadic peoples, matriarchal tribes, and cave-dwelling ascetics. Fortunately for us, he recorded the journey in photographs and has many fascinating tales to tell from this once in a lifetime adventure! Some of you may know Marlin as the Senior Minister at Tulsa's All Souls Unitarian Church. Others may have heard him speak at other venues. All who have heard him know him to be an entertaining and captivating speaker. You won't want to miss this program. Join the Tulsa Bicycle Club on Thursday evening, September 6th, at Martin Regional Library, 26th and Garnett. Marlin's presentation will begin at 8pm following the TBC regular monthly business meeting. Everyone is welcome! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
