[tbc] Tulsa Bicycle Club April meeting - Bicycle Racing, what it's all about!

Cyclists,

 

Join local bike racing enthusiast Malcolm McCollum in a discussion of
bike racing; from Criteriums to Time Trials to Stage Races.  Malcolm is
a member of the Tulsa Wheelmen and will answer all your questions about
the various racing events as well as introduce TBCers to our Tulsa
cycling counterparts, the Tulsa Wheelmen.

 

Malcolm is also Exectutive Director of Tulsa's newest cycling event, the
Tulsa Tough.  Tulsans will have a unique opportunity to view top-level
bicycle racing again this June as the Tulsa Tough returns for three days
of races and touring events June 1-3.  Last year was an eye-opening
introduction to the excitement of short course bicycle racing for many
of us and we're expecting even more excitement this year.  Additionally
there are two days of fully supported tours on Saturday and Sunday, June
2nd and 3rd, for those of us who prefer our cycling longer and at a more
relaxed pace(?) ...

 

Adam Vanderburg will be back to share info on the Tulsa Little 100 with
us again ... we promise to have good sound for his video this time!
He's still looking for volunteers to assist with the event on April
21st.  This is a great event if you're looking for a fun-filled Saturday
helping out.

 

It should be a great program.  Plan now to attend!

 

The TBC General Club Meeting is scheduled for 7:00 pm, Thursday, April
5th at Martin East Library, 26th & Garnett.
